Summer STEAM Institute®
ECM’s Summer STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts & mathematics) Institute® is a national award-winning camp in partnership with the College of Charleston designed to prevent summer learning loss for rising K-8th graders. All of our summer campers participate in immersive, Arts Integrated STEAM programming with instruction from local artists, STEM professionals, cultural organizations and educators designing and producing projects, experiments and unique art. Themes change weekly and focus on 21st–century skills such as fostering imagination, collaboration, and creativity. The camp runs Monday-Friday and you can choose 1-6 weeks. 843-277-2016
Summer STEAM Jr. Counselors
ECM is always looking for high school students to serve as Jr. Counselors at our annual, six week, national award-winning summer camp, Summer STEAM Institute®.
Jr. Counselors may sign up for one week or more to assist local artists, STEM professionals, educators and cultural leaders in a phenomenal summer experience! Counselors will be engaged in all aspects of our weekly themes that include integrating Art experiences with STEM curriculum to create a FUN learning environment.
The curriculum will not only benefit campers but Jr. Counselors as well. Many of the camp themes include technology that is current in today’s job market. Don’t miss out on this incredible learning experience. Sign up as a counselor and help to enhance your own future job skills.
